Family-law practices in the Netherlands that publish on shared custody
SplitDay Team · Updated · 5 practices · every link checked live
This page lists 5 family-law practices in the Netherlands whose public websites carry a plain-language guide to shared custody (co-ouderschap) — the pages we read while researching our guide to custody law in the Netherlands. It is a reading list, not a ranking: inclusion is not an endorsement, SplitDay has no commercial relationship with any practice listed unless its card says “Featured”, and nothing here is legal advice. Every link was checked live on 5 October 2026, and any practice can claim, correct or remove its listing with the form below.
- Alphabetical order — no ranking, no ratings, no reviews.
- Inclusion is not an endorsement; no practice paid to be listed.
- A paid placement, if one is ever shown, is labelled “Featured”.
- Practices can claim, correct or remove a listing with the form below.

How this list is built
- We start from the research behind our country guide. While writing the custody-law page for Netherlands we read what local practices publish on the subject. Guides that were public, specific and dated made the shortlist; firms the research ruled out (for example where the family-law scope was unclear) are not here.
- We check every link. Each website was fetched on 5 October 2026 and kept only if the practice’s own domain answered with a live page. Pages that failed, blocked the check or redirected elsewhere were dropped.
- We write one factual line per practice. Name, location, languages, what they published and when — taken from the practice’s own page and from our research notes. No ratings, no reviews, no claims about results, and no date older than the page itself.
- Practices stay in control. Claim, correct, add or remove a listing with the form below. We answer every request by email, and removal requests are honoured without question.
- Nobody paid to appear. If a paid placement is ever shown it carries a visible “Featured” label, links with rel="sponsored", and follows the same factual rule as every other card.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a ranking of the best family lawyers in the Netherlands?
No. It is an alphabetical list of practices that publish plain-language guides on shared custody — a sign of a practice that explains the law to parents, not a measure of skill, price or results. SplitDay does not rate lawyers and cannot tell you which one to choose.
Does SplitDay earn anything when I contact a listed practice?
No. There are no referral fees, affiliate links or commissions, and no practice paid to be on this page. The only paid option is a clearly labelled “Featured” placement, which a practice can ask about through the form; none is live on this page unless a card carries that label.
How were the links verified?
Each one was fetched on 5 October 2026 and kept only if the practice’s own domain answered with a live page. Websites change, so if you find a dead link, tell us through the form and we will re-check or remove it.
I am a family lawyer or mediator — how do I get listed, correct my entry or be removed?
Use the form below. Choose “Add my practice” if you publish a plain-language guide on shared custody in the Netherlands; “Claim my listing” to confirm or correct your details; “Remove my listing” to be taken off. We reply by email, and removal requests are honoured without question.
Is anything on this page legal advice?
No. The cards describe what each practice has published; they do not say what the law is or what you should do. Custody rules differ by state and country — consult a family-law attorney licensed where your case is heard.
Claim, add or remove a listing
For family-law practices and mediators in the Netherlands. Tell us what to change and we reply by email, usually within a few working days. Removal requests are honoured without question. This form is the only thing on the page that sends data anywhere: it reaches SplitDay through our form provider and is used only to answer your request.
This directory is general information, not legal advice, and listing a practice is not a recommendation. SplitDay makes a custody calendar app; it is not a law firm and has not assessed any practice’s work. Custody rules differ by state and country — consult a family-law attorney licensed where your case is heard.
